These beautiful white oak wood pens were handmade on a lathe by artisan Harold Anderson.   Twist the top in the opposite direction from the bottom to extend the ballpoint pen.   The pens have a nice weight to them - very comfortable in the hand.   Gold-tone metal trim and clip.
